Meet Yolanda Washington

Yolanda Washington is a licensed Realtor® with Summerrain Realty Group, LLC, serving Rochester and the surrounding New York communities. She is dedicated to guiding buyers and sellers through every stage of the real estate transaction, with a strong focus on strategic negotiations, clear communication, and contract execution that protects her clients’ best interests. Yolanda holds an active New York State real estate license and specializes in multifamily properties and real estate development, drawing on hands-on experience to deliver informed, results-driven representation.

Yolanda’s path into real estate began with investing. Alongside her husband, she identified undervalued properties and successfully rehabilitated them, gaining practical insight into valuation, renovation, and long-term investment strategy. After several years as an investor, she earned her real estate license to deepen her industry knowledge, scale her business, and better serve clients with a comprehensive understanding of both the transactional and investment sides of real estate. She has been licensed for three years, with more than eight years of combined experience in real estate investing and sales.

In addition to her brokerage work, Yolanda is actively involved in advocacy and leadership within the profession. She lobbies annually in New York State on real estate–related issues and holds leadership roles within the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, including co-chairing the Housing Justice and Public Policies Committee in the Rochester chapter. She regularly attends state and national events to stay current on policy, procedures, and market trends, and was honored to be selected for the 2026 New York State Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy, reflecting her commitment to professional growth and service across New York State.
